This ethereal, antique Brojol keris dates from the Majapahit-era (15th century).
 
The impressive and ancient wilah is forged with two rare pamors namely pamor Lawe Satukel (Lawe Saukel) which is framed by pamor Wengkon.
 
The image of pamor Lawe Saukel looks like a knot of loose yarn. This Pamor motif is a rare find and is much sought after by collectors and esoteric hunters because it is believed that it brings good luck and that it can help to elaborate and solve the complex problems in the business and interpersonal field. A Saukel keris also wards off witchcraft attacks, evil spirits and malicious people because it is loaded with special spells (kolocokro, etc.).
 
Pamor wengkon is sometimes also called ‘Tepen’ or pamor Lis-lisan, which is a ‘rekan’ type of pamor, meaning that it was created intentionally by the empu. Though this particular pamor motif may seem rather ordinary, yet it is considered an extremely difficult pattern to forge; only an experienced and highly skilled empu will be capable of making a keris that has the pamor Wengkon on it. It is, however, not a ‘chosen’ type of pamor, and thus can be owned by any person. A keris with Wengkon pamor has mystical powers that protect the owner and his family against disasters, slander and nuisance from wild animals, evil spirits and negative persons.
 
Furthermore, the wilah is forged to Brojol dapur (shape). Although Brojol is a fairly simple form, its power is complex. It gives the owner strength to live his life in a pure, peaceful and tranquil way. By living in this way, the owner will be protected and he will be insensitive to stress and distraction which will help him achieve his goals in life.
 
I found this keris to possess a strong relation to the element Ether. It has effect on the Vishuddha or throat chakra, the center of communication. This is the gateway for energy between the lower parts of the body and the head and is guided by principles of expression and communication. Through the throat, sound is propagated into the air and its vibration can be felt not only in our ears, but in our whole body. Vishuddha helps us harmoniously attune to these inner and outer vibrations. Vishuddha chakra bridges the heart and the mind. When this space is clear, the wisdom of both is integrated and profound spiritual truths flow freely. Kerisses with Ether energy have not only one specific power but combine the powers of the other elements into one. I indeed found this keris to have multiple powers. In times of turmoil, it attracts all the powers of other kerisses and combines these with its own powers to help and protect its owner.
 
Beside this it has the power to identify good and bad, thus keeping negative people and spirits at bay.

Deze etherische, antieke Brojol keris dateert uit het Majapahit-tijdperk (15e eeuw).
 
De indrukwekkende en oude wilah is gesmeed met twee zeldzame pamors, namelijk pamor Lawe Satukel (Lawe Saukel) die is omlijst door pamor Wengkon.
 
Het beeld van pamor Lawe Saukel ziet eruit als een knoop los garen. Dit Pamor-motief is een zeldzame vondst en is zeer gewild bij verzamelaars en esoterische jagers, omdat wordt aangenomen dat het geluk brengt en dat het kan helpen bij het uitwerken en oplossen van de complexe problemen op zakelijk en interpersoonlijk gebied. Een Saukel keris weert ook hekserijaanvallen, boze geesten en kwaadwillende mensen omdat hij vol geladen is met speciale spreuken (kolocokro, enz.).
 
Pamor wengkon wordt soms ook 'Tepen' of pamor Lis-lisan genoemd, wat een 'rekan'-type pamor is, wat betekent dat het opzettelijk door de empu is gemaakt. Hoewel dit specifieke pamor-motief nogal gewoon lijkt, wordt het toch als een buitengewoon moeilijk patroon beschouwd om te vervalsen; alleen een ervaren en zeer bekwame empu zal in staat zijn een keris te maken met de pamor Wengkon erop. Het is echter geen 'gekozen' type pamor en kan dus door iedereen worden bezeten. Een keris met Wengkon pamor heeft mystieke krachten die de eigenaar en zijn familie beschermen tegen rampen, laster en overlast van wilde dieren, boze geesten en negatieve personen.
 
Verder is de wilah gesmeed tot Brojol dapur (vorm). Hoewel Brojol een vrij eenvoudige vorm is, is de kracht ervan complex. Het geeft de eigenaar de kracht om zijn leven op een pure, vredige en rustige manier te leiden. Door op deze manier te leven, zal de eigenaar worden beschermd en zal hij ongevoelig zijn voor stress en afleiding die hem zullen helpen zijn doelen in het leven te bereiken.
 
Ik ontdekte dat deze keris een sterke relatie heeft met het element Ether. Het heeft effect op de Vishuddha of keelchakra, het communicatiecentrum. Dit is de toegangspoort voor energie tussen de lagere delen van het lichaam en het hoofd en wordt geleid door principes van expressie en communicatie. Door de keel wordt het geluid in de lucht verspreid en de trilling ervan kan niet alleen in onze oren worden gevoeld, maar in ons hele lichaam. Vishuddha helpt ons harmonieus af te stemmen op deze innerlijke en uiterlijke vibraties. Vishuddha-chakra overbrugt het hart en de geest. Wanneer deze ruimte vrij is, wordt de wijsheid van beiden geïntegreerd en stromen diepe spirituele waarheden vrijelijk. Kerissen met Ether-energie hebben niet slechts één specifieke kracht, maar combineren de krachten van de andere elementen tot één. Ik heb inderdaad ontdekt dat deze keris meerdere krachten heeft. In tijden van onrust trekt hij alle krachten van andere Kerissen aan en combineert deze met zijn eigen krachten om zijn eigenaar te helpen en te beschermen.
 
Daarnaast heeft het de kracht om goed en slecht te identificeren, waardoor negatieve mensen en geesten op afstand worden gehouden.
