This antique Cirebon Teki dates from the Cirebon Majapahit era (14th century).
 
The ancient wilah is forged to the rare Kebo Teki dapur (shape) with 7 luk (waves). The name of this dapur is synonymous to the Indonesian Kebo (water buffalo). As a guide, Kebo / Buffalo has a strong and large physique, hardworking, loyal and patient. Moreover, ancient people in the past have inherited local wisdom and ancestral traditions in the agricultural sector that see Kebo as “Rojokoyo” meaning “Rojo” meaning king and “Koyo” meaning rich.
The meaning is Buffalo, which is understood as “King” to get multiple results (for example, by plowing the fields). So, it is not surprising that Buffalo, seen from a materialistic side, gives optimism in life. Essentially, everything in this world belongs to the supreme. However, as human beings, we are obliged to strive both physically and mentally to get out of all difficulties and achieve our goals. In the “Teteki” practice itself, one of them is practiced by doing Topo kungkum. Topo kungkum is understood as the practice of cleansing oneself to remove all problems (setbacks) in life that stagnate our efforts and aspirations, and is a form of human repentance in order to achieve a better life.
 
In conclusion of the above, I was not surprised that the Isi revealed a powerful buffalo during my meditation with this spiritually powerful keris. The buffalo spirit has powers that will help the owner of the keris in de following ways:
Abundance And Prosperity: Buffaloes are often associated with abundance, prosperity, and the bountiful provision of resources.
Strength And Power: Buffaloes symbolize strength, power, and resilience, representing the ability to overcome challenges and face adversity with might.
Sacrifice And Surrender: In some cultures, buffaloes symbolize sacrifice and surrender, as they were historically vital to the survival of many indigenous communities.
Endurance: Buffaloes are known for their endurance, stamina, and the ability to persist through challenging conditions, symbolizing the importance of perseverance.
Family and Community: Buffaloes are social animals that often move in herds, symbolizing strong family bonds, community, and the power of collective action.
Spirituality: In some Native American traditions, buffaloes are considered sacred and symbolize spirituality, connection to the divine, and the pursuit of higher truths.
 
The top of the keris is adorned with an antique Cirebon Buto Bajang hilt. The keris is housed in a Cirebon Gayaman Walisan warangka of stunning Timoho wood.

Deze antieke Cirebon Kebo Teki keris dateert uit het Cirebon Majapahit tijdperk (14e eeuw).
 
De antieke wilah is gesmeed naar de zeldzame Kebo Teki dapur (vorm) met 7 luk (golven). De naam van deze dapur is synoniem aan de Indonesische Kebo (waterbuffel). Als gids heeft Kebo / Buffalo een sterke en grote lichaamsbouw, hardwerkend, loyaal en geduldig. Bovendien hebben oude mensen in het verleden lokale wijsheid en voorouderlijke tradities in de agrarische sector geërfd die Kebo zien als “Rojokoyo” wat “Rojo” betekent koning en “Koyo” betekent rijk.
De betekenis is buffel, die wordt opgevat als “Koning” om meerdere resultaten te krijgen (bijvoorbeeld door het ploegen van de velden). Het is dus niet verwonderlijk dat buffel, gezien vanuit een materialistische kant, optimisme geeft in het leven. In wezen behoort alles in deze wereld toe aan het allerhoogste. Als mens zijn we echter verplicht om zowel fysiek als mentaal te streven om uit alle moeilijkheden te geraken en onze doelen te bereiken. In de “Teteki” beoefening zelf, wordt één ervan beoefend door het doen van Topo kungkum. Topo kungkum is de praktijk van het reinigen van jezelf om alle problemen (tegenslagen) in het leven te verwijderen die onze inspanningen en aspiraties stagneren, en is een vorm van menselijk berouw om een beter leven te bereiken.
 
Als conclusie van het bovenstaande was ik niet verrast dat de Isi een krachtige buffel onthulde tijdens mijn meditatie met deze spiritueel krachtige keris. De buffelgeest heeft krachten die de eigenaar van de keris op de volgende manieren zullen helpen:
- Overvloed en voorspoed: Buffels worden vaak geassocieerd met overvloed, voorspoed en de overvloedige voorziening van middelen.
- Kracht en macht: Buffels symboliseren kracht, macht en veerkracht, en staan voor het vermogen om uitdagingen te overwinnen en tegenslag met kracht tegemoet te treden.
- Opoffering en overgave: In sommige culturen symboliseren buffels opoffering en overgave, omdat ze historisch gezien van vitaal belang waren voor het overleven van veel inheemse gemeenschappen.
- Uithoudingsvermogen: Buffels staan bekend om hun uithoudingsvermogen en het vermogen om uitdagende omstandigheden te doorstaan, en symboliseren het belang van doorzettingsvermogen.
- Familie en gemeenschap: Buffels zijn sociale dieren die vaak in kuddes leven en symboliseren sterke familiebanden, gemeenschapszin en de kracht van collectieve actie.
- Spiritualiteit: In sommige Indiaanse tradities worden buffels als heilig beschouwd en staan ze symbool voor spiritualiteit, verbinding met het goddelijke en het nastreven van hogere waarheden.
 
Op de bovenzijde van de keris is prijkt een antieke Cirebon Buto Bajang greep. De keris huist in een Cirebon Gayaman Walisan warangka van prachtig Timoho hout.
