The rare, antique Bugis Sapukala keris dates from the Bugis abad XVII (17th century).
 
The keris is housed in a beautiful and rare Jonga Jonga warangka of a dark colored version of Pelet Sembur wood. The gandar is carved from oker colored Cenrana wood which contrasts beautifully against the dark warangka.
 
An antique Pata Tiga hilt set on a silver cup adornes the top of the keris.
 
The ancient wilah is forged with ganja iras and two pamors. At the base of the wilah pamor Nunggak semi can be admired.  This pamor is located on the Sor-Soran of a keris or Tombak or another Pusaka weapon. It is believed that the supernatural power brings amplification for another pamor that exists on the Keris. It is sought after by traders because it is believed that it has the magic power to help them in their dealings. It is a very old pamor and it can easily be confused with Batu Lapak. This pamor goes over into pamor Pulo Tirto in the length of the wilah. Pamor Pulo Tirto consists of two words, namely "Pulo" which means island and "Tirto" which means water. It is named Pulo Tirto because of the shape of the image that appears on the surface of the keris blade which looks like a cluster of islands in an ocean of water. Literally, water will fertilize the soil which turns plants to be fertile and fruitful. Symbolizes a prosperous life or the Indonesians know it by the term "gemah ripah loh jinawi". It is believed that the good luck of Pulo Tirto's pamor is for prosperity, smooth sustenance, household security, and flexibility in socializing like water which can adapt itself to the various containers in which it is located. The old masters or Empu’s created this keris with the aim that the owner would never lack a source of water which symbolized a source of sustenance. The smoothness of the expected fortune will continue to multiply endlessly.
 
Like the shape of the image created on the keris, namely islands and water, this keris symbolizes a balance that exists in human life. In the process of life there must be happiness and sadness or there are always good and bad things that will happen. It teaches the owner the lesson not be lulled by the happiness or pleasure that is being bestowed from the supernatural. Also do not drag on in sadness or problems that occur in life. As a human being, we must be able to control ourselves in the face of whatever will happen, be it good or bad things. Thus, humans will become strong and not easily disappointed in their failures and hopes.

Deze zeldzame, antieke Bugis Sapukala kris dateert uit de Bugis abad XVII (17e eeuw).
 
De keris huist in een prachtige en zeldzame Jonga Jonga warangka van een donker gekleurde versie van Pelet Sembur hout. De gandar is gesneden uit okerkleurig Cenrana-hout dat prachtig contrasteert met de donkere warangka.
 
Een antiek Pata Tiga gevest greep op een zilveren cup de bovenkant van de kris.
 
De oude wilah is gesmeed met ganja iras en twee pamors. Aan de basis van de wilah pamor is Nunggak semi te bewonderen. Deze pamor bevindt zich op de Sor-Soran van een keris of Tombak of een ander Pusaka-wapen. Er wordt aangenomen dat de bovennatuurlijke kracht versterking brengt voor een andere pamor die op de Keris bestaat. Het is gewild bij handelaren omdat men gelooft dat het de magische kracht heeft om hen te helpen bij hun transacties. Het is een zeer oude pamor en kan gemakkelijk worden verward met Batu Lapak. Deze pamor gaat in de lengte van de wilah over in pamor Pulo Tirto. Pamor Pulo Tirto bestaat uit twee woorden, namelijk "Pulo" wat eiland betekent en "Tirto" wat water betekent. Het wordt Pulo Tirto genoemd vanwege de vorm van het beeld dat verschijnt op het oppervlak van de wilah dat eruitziet als een cluster van eilanden in een oceaan van water. Letterlijk zal water de grond bemesten waardoor planten vruchtbaar en vruchtbaar worden. Symboliseert een voorspoedig leven of de Indonesiërs kennen het onder de term "gemah ripah loh jinawi". Er wordt aangenomen dat het geluk van Pulo Tirto's pamor is voor welvaart, een soepel levensonderhoud, huishoudelijke veiligheid en flexibiliteit in socialisatie zoals water dat zich kan aanpassen aan de verschillende containers waarin het zich bevindt. De oude meesters of Empu's creëerden deze keris met als doel dat de eigenaar nooit een waterbron zou missen die een bron van levensonderhoud symboliseerde. De gladheid van het verwachte fortuin zal zich eindeloos blijven vermenigvuldigen.
 
Net als de vorm van het beeld dat op de keris is gemaakt, namelijk eilanden en water, symboliseert deze keris een evenwicht dat bestaat in het menselijk leven. In het levensproces moet er geluk en verdriet zijn, anders zullen er altijd goede en slechte dingen gebeuren. Het leert de eigenaar de les om niet te worden gesust door het geluk of plezier dat wordt geschonken door het bovennatuurlijke. Sleep ook niet door in verdriet of problemen die zich in het leven voordoen. Als mens moeten we onszelf kunnen beheersen in het aangezicht van wat er ook gebeurt, of het nu goede of slechte dingen zijn. Zo zullen mensen sterk worden en niet snel teleurgesteld worden in hun mislukkingen en hoop.
